Responsibilities:
When developing engine control software, it is important to be able to test the software in different simulation environments, as it is far too slow and expensive to test on a real ship engine. One of these simulation environments are our Hardware-in-the-Loop testwalls, where we test the software on the real controllers that are used on the ships.
We are looking for a talented student assistant for our HILS team that can help with the maintenance and development of these testwalls.
Your main tasks will include:
- Cabling and electrical work on low voltage setups
- Electrical documentation (We use the program PCschematics)
- Assist with various IT tasks related to the test facilities
- Buying components for the testwalls
- Maintenance of our component stock and other ad hoc tasks
