Supporting the Sustainability team you will be responsible for a number of key tasks that keep the team working effectively, there is scope for development and addition of further tasks for the right person in this busy team. Specifically you will:
- Assist with market research of deforestation, data collection and analysis, as well as end of year reporting for Arla’s deforestation and conversion-free targets.
- Support with scoping activities related to incoming deforestation legislations (both EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and UK Forest Risk Commodities (UKFRC)), such as certification schemes, supply chain transparency, stakeholder collaboration and regulation obligations.
- Initiate mapping projects of soy in feed from Ara farmers back to feed suppliers.
- Support initiatives in Procurement to understand Arla’s traceability capabilities across high risk commodities.
- Support with Arla’s projects in piloting the Science Based Targets for Nature (SBTN), including data management, stakeholder engagement, methodology interpretation and target scoping.
- Assist with development of future nature and biodiversity related projects
