Student Assistant - Product Portfolio Management
Are you passionate about data analytics and process automation? Do you have a talent for turning sophisticated data into compelling stories? If you’re driven by curiosity and a desire to make a real impact, we’d love for you to join our Product Portfolio team at Hempel as our new Student Assistant!
Who We Are
At Hempel, we’re embarking on an ambitious growth journey – striving to double our business by 2025 while championing sustainability and digital transformation. As part of our team, you’ll be playing a hands-on role in reshaping and streamlining our processes and systems. Join us, and help us build the future of our product portfolio management!
What You’ll Do
In the Product Portfolio team, we are responsible for the development and management of Hempel’s products and assortment. This is a dynamic and evolving space, where data-driven decisions are key to keeping us ahead.

As a Student Assistant, you’ll get hands-on experience and the chance to create an impact through:

  • Analyzing data across functions to drive strategic decisions
  • Optimizing processes and workflows to improve efficiency
  • Maintaining and developing Power BI and Power Automate flows to help digitize and automate processes

You’ll be a valued part of a close-knit team based in Kgs. Lyngby, working around 15-20 hours per week with flexibility to match your academic schedule.
What We’re Looking For

You’re probably pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analysis, or a similar field. Beyond your academic background, you’re:

  • Skilled in Excel and passionate about working with data
  • Diligent and meticulous, with a passion for finding solutions
  • Able to communicate efficiently in English, both written and spoken
  • Comfortable working in an international environment with diverse culture
  • Interested in Power Automate and Power Apps (if you have experience here, it’s a bonus!)

Knowledge of relational databases and data modelling concepts will also be an advantage.

Why Join Us?

  • Real-world experience: Work directly with cross-functional teams, apply what you’ve learned in school, and grow your expertise in data analysis and process improvement.
  • Encouraging environment: We’ll provide a detailed onboarding to get you up to speed and ensure you have the tools to succeed.
