The Modelling & Optimisation department is the competence centre at Vattenfall for technical and financial modelling of offshore wind farms. We are responsible for expanding our fully in-house developed wind farm design tools, utilizing advanced mathematical optimisation techniques and co-simulation of multi-parameter physical models. These models assess and optimise the design of our future offshore wind farms, mastering the complexity of each component while maintaining a holistic view of the full system. As we work with a mix of Excel-based financial models and Python-based tools, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in both areas.
