REQUIREMENTS

  • Up-to-date working knowledge of key legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to international students (essential)
  • Positive and supportive communication style with experience across a variety of key stakeholders (essential)
  • Ability to plan, control, coordinate and manage activities with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • A self-starter with a professional image who prides themselves on strong attention to detail
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably within an educational environment
  • Knowledge of the ESOS Code of Practice (desirable)
  • Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
  • Our hours of operation are from 8:00 am – 8:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

ROLE

Kaplan Business School is seeking a Student Experience Officer dedicated to delivering exceptional non-academic support. This role focuses on providing guidance, organising key events, and offering pastoral care to enhance student welfare and ensure a positive educational experience. Ideal candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to student well-being, and the ability to coordinate and execute impactful student initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the face of KBS and the first point of contact for all Kaplan students studying on campus or online
  • Provide excellent customer service, advice, guidance and support to students regarding KBS programs and services and respond professionally and accurately to students’ enquiries
  • Coordinate and deliver major functions and events at the campus, including orientation, graduation, and the Student Ambassador Program
  • Maintain the student portal and update it with accurate information
  • Liaise with Academic Staff on matters relating to the academic performance of students
  • Encourage teamwork and collaboration through positive communication to help foster a high-performing, student-centric driven culture
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures including WHS legislation requirements
