Student Financial Services Officer (m/f/d)

Students at Constructor University are charged tuition fees and costs for accommodation and meals in one of the four student residences on campus.
To cover the resulting costs, students are offered individualized financing options, so-called financial aid packages, which consist of scholarships, tuition deferrals and a personal contribution to be paid. The Student Financial Services department develops and manages the individual financing packages for each applicant.
Another area of responsibility includes the administration of student accounts (invoicing and dispatch, creation of installment payment plans, monitoring of incoming payments/dunning).
Your responsibilities:
- Advising prospective and current students about our fees and our financing options
- Preparation and dispatch of outgoing student invoices (tuition fees, accommodation etc.)
- monitoring and dunning of outstanding student receivables
- Participation in the development and optimization of guidelines and processes
- Supporting the SFS team in handling day-to-day business and assisting with various projects as required
Your profile:
- Successfully completed studies (Bachelor) or vocational training in accounting/commercial field.
- General accounting knowledge and knowledge of accounting systems
- Very good MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
- Attention to detail and meticulous working style, very good organizational skills, flexibility
- Enjoy working independently and as part of an international team
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- High level of interpersonal skills, communication skills and service orientation
- Experience in university administration and student advisory services is a plus

Student Financial Services Officer (m/w/d)
Von den Studierenden an der Constructor University werden Studiengebühren und Kosten für Unterbringung und Verpflegung in einem der vier Studentenwohnheime auf dem Campus erhoben.
Zur Deckung der daraus resultierenden Kosten werden den Studierenden individuell angepasste Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten, die sich aus Stipendien, Stundungen und einem zu zahlenden Eigenanteil zusammensetzen. Der Bereich Student Financial Services entwickelt und verwaltet die individuellen Finanzierungspakete für jeden Studienbewerber.
Ein weiterer Aufgabenbereich umfasst die Verwaltung der Studentenkonten (Rechnungserstellung und Versand, Erstellung von Ratenzahlungsplänen, Überwachung der Zahlungseingänge/Mahnwesen).
Deine Aufgaben:
- Beratung von Studierenden und deren Angehörigen bezüglich der Studienfinanzierung
- Erstellung und Versand der studentischen Ausgangsrechnungen (Studiengebühren, Studentenwohnheim etc.)
- Überwachung und Mahnwesen der offenen studentischen Forderungen
- Mitwirkung bei der Erarbeitung und Optimierung von Richtlinien und Abläufen
- Unterstützung des SFS Teams bei der Abwicklung des Tagesgeschäfts sowie Unterstützung bei diversen Projekten nach Bedarf
Dein Profil:
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium (Bachelor) oder eine Berufsausbildung in der Buchhaltung/im kaufmännischen Bereich
- Allgemeine Buchhaltungskenntnisse und Kenntnis von Buchhaltungssystemen
- Sehr gute MS-Office Kenntnisse, insbesondere MS Excel
- Blick fürs Detail und sorgfältiger Arbeitsstil, sehr gute Organisationsfähigkeit, Flexibilität
- Freude am selbständigen Arbeiten und als Teil eines internationalen Teams
- Fließende Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Hohe soziale Kompetenz, Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Serviceorientierung
- Erfahrung in der Universitätsverwaltung und Studierendenberatung von Vorteil
