About the role
You will facilitate the University’s student appeals, complaints and misconduct processes by interpreting and applying a wide range of activities associated with various procedures. You will be responsible for accepting, triaging and advising on student complaint and appeal submissions and applying judgement to ensure eligibility against relevant university systems. In addition, you will provide support, advice and training to staff across the University on appeals, complaints and misconduct matters.
You will:
- provide high level, comprehensive support to Committee’s;
- provide an effective and efficient service;
- initiate and/or contribute to innovative and continuous improvement of practices, processes and procedures; and
- respond proactively to aid in the resolution of student matters.
About you
You will have demonstrated high levels of proficiency, professionalism, innovation, judgement, confidentiality and integrity and be experienced in interpreting, applying and administering the University’s student integrity processes, regulations, systems and databases. In addition, you will have excellent interpersonal skills, with a customer service orientation to facilitate student appeals and integrity processes.
You will possess:
- a working knowledge of the external regulatory environment (TEQSA, ESOS and ASQA);
- demonstrated organisational and time management skills;
- ability to display sound independent judgment and attention to detail; and
- demonstrated ability to solve problems in an efficient and effective manner.
