Global Technology Services (GTS) is one of the foundational divisions of the TMX Group, that empowers internal TMX business lines for their technology needs, operations and digital innovation. GTS as a client centric organization focuses on building technology capabilities, enabling our clients with the best technology solutions and providing effective technology financial and resource management processes. The cost effective operation is a key attribute of the GTS execution. GTS is responsible for delivery of all technology initiatives and services across TMX.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on both Client and Server side of monitoring and client facing tools.You will work in a fast-paced team with other like-minded developers to implement rich digital user experiences. You will work on enhancing existing digital assets, such as monitoring tools as well as client facing applications for MX derivatives markets.
This role reports to Senior Manager and Squad Lead, Web Development.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Technical design, and implementation (build/code), of web-based applications and digital interfaces
Contribute to application improvement and optimization (through code audits, refactoring, caching, architecture changes)
Work with all team members in troubleshooting issues and bug fixes
Collaborate in a team on rapid scrum based sprints
Solve difficult problems
