The Position
The centralized treasury department in Basel ensures optimal financing and appropriate liquidity of the Group and its affiliates. It is responsible for managing the financial assets and liabilities for the entire Roche Group.
Within the treasury department, the Treasury Operations team manages the Roche InHouse Bank with a variety of banking services for the affiliates. The Team is responsible for master data maintenance and transaction processing on the global treasury SAP system.

In this team, your key role and responsibilities will include:

  • Processing in-house and third-party bank transactions (like money market, securities, derivatives and FX deals, for Roche’s global affiliates).
  • Creating and maintaining master data in the global SAP system and supporting the centralized month-end close process as well as will also be part of the job.
  • Assisting the team with their ongoing projects and eventually leading on treasury related projects (new regulations, integration to other finance areas, automation of processes)

Ideally you bring the following skills and experience:

  • Good team player and self-motivator
  • Eager to learn new knowledge and able to apply it quickly
  • University knowledge about Finance and/or Accounting (Enrolled in a Master’s degree or finished Master’s degree within the last 12 months to the start date of the internship)
  • Flexibility to take over special assignments besides the daily work task
  • Strong command in English and German
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge, especially Excel

Start date: preferred from 1st of October 2024
Duration: 12 months
