STUDENT LOAN COMPANY FINANCE OFFICER

We are looking for a motivated, proactive and highly organised Student Loans Company (SLC) Finance Officer within the Student Billings team. You will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the SLC financial data of the university, undertaking tasks relating to the invoicing, collection, reconciliation, and maintenance of the SLC income.

• Submit attendance confirmations and changes of circumstance to the SLC and reconcile any differences with the SLC database.
• Process SLC remittances, investigate unallocated payments/clawbacks and take actions to clear the balance.
• Develop and maintain the use of complex spreadsheets and databases to aid reconciliations.
• Provide a high level of customer service when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the Fees and Funding Manager to ensure the team meet targets and prepare the wider team for any changes in student finance legislation that impacts the university.
