Who we need:
Reporting to the Brand Manager, the Student Outreach Manager focuses on promoting the Toronto Film
School (TFS) programs to prospective students, parents, high school teachers & staff, resulting in increased
growth and revenue. This role requires an ability to communicate effectively with external clients and vendor
teams to promote the initiatives of TFS. This role focuses on Ontario and will require travel to schools/events
multiple times per week, but travel outside the province may occur as needed

What you will do:

  • Develop outreach strategies that drive domestic program growth with clear metrics to evaluate success.
  • Build, manage and retain relationships with prospective students, student clubs, youth event organizers,guidance counselors and high school teachers & staff.
  • Attend on-site and virtual high school recruitment events, career fairs and secondary education institutions topromote TFS programs.
  • Participate in in-person activities with students/organizations/stakeholders (e.g. presenting in front of a group,1:1 meetings, setting up and managing a promotional booth, managing campus tours and other duties asneeded), both planned and ad hoc, and occasionally on short notice.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and viable recruitment streams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues in Marketing, Student Recruitment, Communications andAcademics.
  • Maintain detailed CRM records and provide progress updates, while making suggestions for continousimprovements to current processes.
  • Contribute to a positive corporate culture that supports equity, inclusion, learning, and wellness.
  • Uphold the integrity of Yorkville University and Toronto Film School in compliance with regulatory standardsset by the governing authorities.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing management or related discipline (or international equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative setting, as well as in a self-directed manner, as the situationrequires. Must be able to handle multiple tasks, take direction and prioritize effectively.
  • Comfortable presenting to various sized groups in different setting.
  • Meticulous about tracking, record keeping and reporting – able to understand, develop and managemarketing reports.
  • Experience working in highly dynamic and fast paced settings and/or organizations.
  • Experience working in film, tv, or industries related to TFS programs.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, andTeams); experience with CRM systems is an asset.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, which will include remote, office and on-site work, and may occur onmornings, afternoons, evenings or weekends.
  • Able to complete a successful police background check as requred
