QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in a planning, urban design or a planning-related, University or College program.
  • Student must be enrolled in a full-time academic program returning to full-time studies September 2025 and/or require this placement to graduate from an academic program.

Responsibilities:

Reports to and carries out work under the direction of a Manager in Planning and Development. Undertakes and assists staff in a variety of planning, and urban design assignments and studies, including research, survey, data-gathering, data maintenance, and data analysis. Provides support with the update of process standards, and graphic and design assistance in the preparation of reports and studies. Makes presentations, where necessary, to various groups including Advisory Committees, Standing Committees, Stakeholder Meetings, and the General Public.
