JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS

Job Summary:
The Business Development Officer will play a critical role in driving the growth and expansion of our international student recruitment agency. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with educational institutions, agents, and other stakeholders, and developing strategies to enhance our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the international education market, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential growth opportunities and trends in the international student recruitment industry.
Analyze competitors, market conditions, and emerging markets to inform business development strategies.
Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, including educational institutions, agents, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with existing partners to enhance cooperation and maximize recruitment efforts.
Attend and represent the company at industry events, fairs, and conferences.
Business Development Strategy:
Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company growth targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns to attract prospective students.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
Drive sales efforts by identifying and converting leads into business opportunities.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with partners and clients to ensure mutually beneficial terms.
Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to the Managing Director.
Client Relationship Management:
Manage relationships with prospective and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement.
Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a high level of service.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and financial performance.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, agreements, and sales data.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.
A Master’s degree or professional qualification in a related field is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the international education sector.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Skills:
Strong understanding of the international education market and student recruitment processes.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Ability to travel internationally as required.
Other Requirements:
A network of contacts within the international education sector is highly desirable.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
