Department of Psychology
Position Summary:
- Assist in conducting research experiments and data collection, including neuroimaging (EEG) and physiological measures
- Perform data analysis and visualization using programming languages such as R, Python, or MATLAB
- Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to ensure the smooth execution of project tasks
- Support literature reviews, manuscript preparation, and grant reporting
- Support dissemination efforts across different platforms
- Maintain accurate records, including ethics protocols and research documentation
Qualifications:
- Experienced with using neuroimaging techniques and/or physiological and eye tracking measures (e.g. EEG, eye-tracking, HRV)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or MATLAB for data analysis and visualization
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative research environment.
- Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 3 on a scale of 0-4.
Experience and education: Graduate student in neuroscience, psychology, or a related field.
