Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Research Director, the Student Research Assistant will contribute to ongoing research projects and assist in the advancement of knowledge in applied AI and advanced digital health technologies in primary care and family medicine.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct literature reviews to gain a comprehensive understanding of the research topic and identify research gaps.
  • Assist in designing and conducting experiments, data collection, and data analysis using appropriate methodologies.
  • Collaborate with faculty and researchers to develop research hypotheses and methodologies.
  • Assist in organizing and managing research data, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Contribute to the preparation of research papers, reports, and presentations based on research findings.
  • Participate in research team meetings to discuss project progress, share insights, and contribute to the research community.
  • Assist in grant and proposal writing, including conducting background research, developing project descriptions, and budgeting.
  • Maintain ethical standards and ensure compliance with research protocols, institutional policies, and relevant regulations.
