As a Student Retail Furniture Sales Associate, you will provide courteous and efficient customer service in store, and support with general store maintenance and furniture repair and assembly. Led by the Manager, Furniture Store, this opportunity suits a proactive self-starter, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Greet and assist customers with all aspects of their home furnishing, appliance, and accessories requirements.
• Process customers’ transactions in the P.O.S. system.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and loading customer pick-up orders. Assist with preparing items for Delivery and/or Dealer shipments.
• Assemble furniture and place on retail sales floor. Repair in-stock furniture.
• Assist in moving furniture displays and relocation of product within the store and stock areas.
• General housekeeping and store maintenance of retail store and facilities. Assist in maintaining a clean truck, warehouse, and stockroom.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Assist with other special projects as requested from the Store Manager
