Description:
ABOUT US:
The Green Office works with strategy development as well as implementation of one of CBS’ core priorities, namely the green transition. CBS aims to play an important role in the transition to a greener economy and society. Specifically, we plan to achieve this through reforming our educational offerings, research, external partnerships, as well as managing our own operations and emissions. The Green Office is the “go to place” for everything green at CBS – from research, to education, to events, to bottom-up initives.
The Green Office is an independent unit, which means that while we are a small team, you will work within a complex organizational framework. Within our office, you will find an entrepreneurial spirit and a “can-do” attitude, as well as extremely flat hierarchies. You will work alongside Hanne Harmsen, Vice Dean for the Green Transition; and Green Transition Officers Jens Riemer and Lavinia-Cristina Iosif-Lazar.
Responsibilities:
- Project and event management for the Green Business Forum – large sustainability-themed conference at CBS - and similar events
- Editing in MS office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Producing and editing documents in Adobe InDesign & Photoshop
- Quantitative data analysis in Excel for our Green Dashboard – science based real-life tracker of CBS’ sustainability efforts
- Qualitative data analysis and coding in NVivo (content analysis programme)
- Data collection and analysis on various research topics within responsible and green education
- Updating and managing the CBS Green Transition website and PRME social media accounts
- Relationship-building and management with faculty, students, partner universities, and external stakeholders
- Contact person for green student organizations at CBS, hosting a networking breakfast each month
- Ad-hoc tasks related to the daily operations of the Green Transition Office
