Description:

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone with an interest in wellbeing and coaching, with the ability to:

  • Provide wellbeing advice to students, complementing support provided by the Faculty Senior Tutor, Senior Tutor(s) and Personal Tutors
  • Provide one-to-one and group support through coaching sessions
  • Develop and lead workshops for students to cover areas such as mindfulness, resilience and enhancing life skills
  • Promote of student wellbeing initiatives through appropriate communication channels

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role has been created as part of an exciting new phase within the university, providing more resource and a stronger commitment to supporting student mental health and wellbeing.
We are looking for an organised and driven individual who is interested in working in a student wellbeing role, providing both welfare support and coaching advice to postgraduate students in the Faculty of Medicine.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

You will be responsible for providing a high level of wellbeing advice and coaching to postgraduate students within the Faculty of Medicine. You will be the designated wellbeing adviser for these students, working closely with other colleagues to enrich the student wellbeing provision.
