Student-worker for Data Analysis & Dashboard Creation - 15 hours weekly

WHO YOU ARE

IKEA DK is currently seeking a dedicated Student-worker (last yr. B.Sc. or Master level) to join our Finance function and assist in building business steering tools for the organization.

Your qualifications:

• You are currently enrolled in either last year’s B.Sc or a master’s program in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics or Engineering, or another related field in an educational institution like CBS, DTU, ITU or similar.
• You have a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a proven ability to interpret and visualize data to draw feasible conclusions.
• You are experienced in working with statistical software and tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python, SAS) and have an understanding of database management.

Personal characteristics:

• An outgoing personality who is comfortable learning to work across many levels in a global organization.
• Build Power BI reports and analyze data to produce insights.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring precision in data and results as well as in documenting things.
• Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information from various sources.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex data insights in a clear and accessible manner.
• A team player with a collaborative mindset, adept at working in multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals.

What we need is an automated real-time business steering dashboard(s) that establish a common approach to commercial performance and enable all functions to draw the same conclusions and react quickly to business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build automated PowerBI dashboard(s) based on specifications from CFO, and commercial and digital teams.
• Perform statistical analysis on data to identify trends and patterns in business performance.
• Deliver reports detailing performance opportunities and challenges.
