JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to make an impact in decarbonizing food and beverage industry? At Danfoss Industrial Refrigeration we are looking for a student worker to support our Strategy and Marketing team reviewing and interpreting market trends, competitors’ activities, and working on pricing activities. In this role, you will be required to gather and analyze data, write reports on findings, and work with marketing collateral.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

  • You are a student at Bachelor or Master’s level within Marketing or Business studies and it would be advantageous if your CV includes projects relevant to data analysis and pricing.
  • You are a quick learner, passionate about Marketing and Data and interested in Technology.
  • You enjoy making complex things simple.
  • You take ownership of projects and independently drive assigned work activities forward.
  • You work well both in a team and on your own, communicating well with colleagues from different cultures and geographies.
  • You are confident working with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power Point.
  • You are resilient, and look for solutions rather than obstacles.
  • You can handle both verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data on the marketplace and identify market trends.
  • Compile data related to competitors such as positioning, pricing, and marketing activities.
  • Create and maintain global reference price list.
  • Define acceptable price variations across markets.
  • Gather and analyze pricing data from various sources, including internal sales data.
  • Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Interpret the findings and create reports and visualizations that clearly communicate insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with product management and technical experts to translate complex product features into crisp value propositions.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and update marketing collateral.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
