SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree / qualification in relevant field i.e. Fashion, Textiles, Graphic Design
- Proven experience in a similar Studio Manager role
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to coach and inspire a team
- Demonstrated experience designing original graphics, artworks and prints
- Skilled in researching and developing trends that are filtered by Brand DNA and present the Trend Direction.
- Ability to scan the global market to identify, forecast and communicate trend direction.
- Proven ability identifying trends and communicating ideas key partners and teams
- Ability to prioritise and manage the workload of a team to ensure studio deadlines are met
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders with confidence
- Ability to reviewing and analyse sales data to draw insights to inform future design concepts
- Strong organisation, planning and time management skills
- Ability to make confident decisions that will determine the success of the brand
- Confidence in MS Office and Adobe Suite programs
Responsibilities:
We a looking for a creative and innovative Studio Manager to join our Cotton On Men’s team on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will enable our vision by managing the design workflow to deliver finished art work and yardage print designs that reflect current trends. You will creatively lead a team of graphic artists to design and produce original, ethical and copyright free graphics and prints that meet strategic product objectives. You will scan the global market to identify, forecast and communicate print direction, as well as research and develop graphic trends that are filtered by our brand DNA and present them to the Trend team. You will be responsible for reviewing finished artwork and giving feedback to your team, as well as inspecting designs to identify ethical, intellectual property and copyright risks; using your judgement to solve problems and provide solutions. We will look to you to monitor and review sales results and draw insights to inform future design concepts.
