Subcontracting/Commercial Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4 to 5 years’ experience in similar position/capacity with a reputable shipyard.
• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Naval Architect or marine engineering or similar qualification with strong technical background.
• Experience in yard production will be an advantage.
• Able to work in Indonesia, Batam full time.
• Good in computer skills.

• Able to work independently, engage and communicate efficiently and guide Subcontracting Officers and promote team work.
• Improve/expand the subcon tariffs for all trades.
• Work closely with other departments to support yard operations.
• Generate/review RFQs, check sub-com draft bills, negotiate and finalise quotations/draft bills with the subcontractors.
• Control and manage subcon draft bills and invoices for timely settlement/payment.
• Review and monitor sub-cons financial stability, identify risk areas prior to engage for their services.
