Subject Matter Expert - Balancing Markets (Freelance contract)

THE POSITION

We are looking for a knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support Sympower’s Product and Engineer to help to accelerate the global transition towards ’net zero’ with smarter and cleaner renewable energy systems.
You’ll be collaborating directly with Product Managers and software engineers in delivering impactful outcomes. As a SME at Sympower, you’ll play a pivotal role in enabling fulfilling the necessary requirements and managing directly the relationship with the third parties that interact with our platform.
We’re looking for a candidate who is available for a freelance contract.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

• Experience in reserves and balancing power markets
• Experience working with engineer and product teams.
• Experience in start-ups/scale-up companies

• Identify and gather technical, product requirements and/or regulatory changes coming from the TSO (MAVIR) or any other technical documentation
• Being part of the communication with the TSO, DSOs, BRP with our internal teams, both technical and commercial
• Collaborate with our team of software developers, helping them to clarify the technical requirements and understand the loopholes
• Clarify and discuss uncertain product or technical requirements coming from DSOs, BRPs and TSO (Hungarian to English)
• Provide technical support to the country business developers in Hungary
