JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS

About Turing:
Turing is an AI-powered tech services company that aims to accelerate AGI advancement and deployment by bridging the gap between global talent from 100+ countries and the world’s best foundational LLM companies. We enhance AI performance by evaluating, fine-tuning, and offering insightful feedback on LLMs, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and effectiveness across diverse data sets.
Role Overview:
A well-funded AI research company is seeking candidates with strong chemistry knowledge and problem-solving abilities, particularly at the high school and Engineering Entrance Exam levels. The role involves tackling complex chemistry challenges and working with diverse data, particularly in LLM contexts (text, chemical structures, reaction mechanisms, etc.). You should be skilled in explaining solutions clearly and working efficiently under time constraints.
What does day-to-day look like:

You will solve advanced high school chemistry problems, create detailed explanations, and integrate text with chemical structures and reaction mechanisms. Example tasks include:

  • Analyze and explain the steps in a complex organic reaction mechanism, providing both textual explanations and annotated chemical structures.
  • Solve a problem involving chemical equilibrium, accompanied by visual representations of reaction progress and energy diagrams, and explain the process using both text and visual aids.
  • Address challenging problems involving stoichiometry, thermodynamics, organic chemistry, and electrochemistry, typical of Engineering Entrance Exam or Engineering College level questions, utilizing a combination of textual, visual, and diagrammatic explanations.

Requirements:

  • Strong skills in general, organic, physical, and inorganic chemistry at the high school/college level.
  • Ability to solve and explain chemistry problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Familiarity with Engineering Entrance Exam formats.

Benefits:

  • Collaborate with globally renowned experts and build a network tailored to your career aspirations.
  • Experience the flexibility of remote work while breaking away from traditional office setups.
  • Receive industry-standard salaries in USD.
  • Contribute to innovative projects pushing the boundaries of technology, keeping you at the forefront of advancements.

Don’t miss this chance to join us. Complete the online chemistry assessment, then showcase your skills in an interview and mock teaching session to secure your role in revolutionizing AI and chemistry.
