Description:
JOB PROFILE SUMMARY:
Contributes to the provision of:
- credit analysis, decisioning, verification, monitoring throughout the credit lifecycle.
- the development of credit policy; or the implementation of credit strategies, including problem asset strategies; across the retail or corporate business.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related operational role within the financial services industry
- Understanding of the end-to-end process flow for unsecured products
- Proven ability to effectively plan and coordinate incoming work and enquiries.
- The role requires good and assertive oral and written communication skills, high level of analytical and Investigation skills and banking domain knowledge.
- Highly motivated, result driven, team and customer focused.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews credit exposures against the limit framework and provides analysis.
- Participates in monitoring credit risk to ensure that they are within limit thresholds.
- Applies knowledge of retail and corporate lending. Understands strategies and policies for the management of credit risk across the credit lifecycle.
- Helps leaders implement any process updates.
- Ensure the training requirements of the team are successfully catered to.
- Ensure quality (process and decision quality) for the team are in line with service levels to maximize satisfaction of the stakeholders.
- Re-designs processes to better manage, measure, and monitor credit risks.
- Work productively as part of a team or independently to meet deadlines
- Assist in communication of results and analysis of credit risks. Assists in development of credit risk analysis and uses tools manage and monitor credit risk.Provides coaching to team members, assists in developing action plans to resolve issues and uplift of Bottom quartile.
