DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Subject Matter Expert to join our team. You will work with our project managers and instructional designers to develop industry-aligned, skills-based non-credit courses that are engaging, high-quality, and aligned with learning standards. Your expertise will help build the suite of courses available through the Learning and Development Initiative.
Person Reports To – Vice President, The Learning and Development Initiative
Supervises – N/A

Prerequisite Qualifications –

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Extensive professional experience in the subject area (10+ years of industry experience).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional design.
• Previous teaching or training experience is a plus

• Assess market need for the course under consideration and specify appropriate delivery modality.
• Develop detailed course content, including learning objectives, course structure, course materials, and assessments.
• Collaborate with instructional designers to incorporate multimedia elements and interactive learning tools.
• Review and revise course materials throughout the development process to maintain accuracy and relevance.
• Provide expertise and insight into industry best practices and professional certification requirements.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of curriculum development processes.
