JOB DESCRIPTION
Excelraise, LLC is a rapidly growing full service IT solutions integrator and talent management company headquartered in Denver, CO. Our valued client*s includes fortune 500 companies, Government Agencies.
Currently we are looking for a qualified individual to work as a Subject Matter Expert/Data Quality Analyst with our direct client in Raleigh NC/Remote.
- *This is a remote position for the duration of the engagement. If the candidate is local they’d like him or her to come onsite to collect equipment. If not, they will ship the candidate the equipment.
- This position will serve as a Subject Matter Expert on clinical data and electronic health record systems and will act as a liaison between health care providers and the HIE to improve quality of the data sent to the HIE. This position will involve use of Mirth Interface Engine, Intersystems HealthShare Health Insight, HealthShare Clinical Viewer, and SAS technologies in support of the North Carolina Health Information Exchange Authority.
SKILLS
- Understanding of healthcare IT architectural principles, technical designs, and specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact and communicate effectively with non-technical clients.
- Ability to think analytically and problem solve.
- Subject matter expert (SME) level of knowledge working with clinical data, electronic health record (EHR), HL7 v2 (primarily ADT data), and C-CDA me
- Experience working with electronic health record data, experience with Admission, Discharge, and Transfer (ADT) preferred. Highly desired
- Ability to run and modify basic SQL queries.
- Experience with analyzing and documenting processes and requirement specifications and developing clinical workflows.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and health care regulatory compliance as they relate to EHR systems and Health Information Exchange (HIE).
- Experience with Microsoft Office Tools, including Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Understand clinical data and data flow within Intersystems HealthShare, EHRs, and other associated systems. Highly desired
- Knowledge of relational databases and business enterprise systems. Highly desired
- Experience developing training materials or end user reports based on trends in clinical data and clinical system workflows. Highly desired
