Description:
The Basement Sump and Pump Company is part of Timberwise UK Ltd, one of the UK’s largest privately owned damp proofing and remedial treatment companies, specialising in damp and timber treatment, waterproofing and structural repairs.

We are now looking for a Submersible Pump Engineer to join our team in the Slough area. You will be expected to drive throughout the area to perform your role. A local storage facility will be set up for you to store and receive parts.
As a Submersible Pump Engineer your role will include:-
- Installing, servicing, cleaning and checking basement pumping stations within properties (domestic and commercial)
- Attending properties where there is a known fault within the pump system, diagnose the problem and then carry out a repair or quote to reattend to fix the system.
- Undertaking a planned maintenance programme usually on a 6 month or annual basis
- Installing replacement pumps as required including associated pipework and accsssories
- Checking electrical readings via insulation resistance and continuity tests.
Previous experience of similar work is essential. Electricial qualifications (18th Edition, Testing and Inspection) and medium risk confined space entry is a benefit.

The hours of work are 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday with occasional out of hours work for which extra payment / overtime will be made.
Pay rate is commensurate with skill level and previous experience.
