Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
As a business in growth mode with an exciting pipeline of work ahead of us, we’re looking for an experienced Submissions Coordinator to join our dynamic team of writers and designers to deliver engaging content that meets the expectations of our customers and clearly communicates the Downer offer in our tender submissions.
The Submissions Coordinator is part of the South Regional Transport team, reporting directly to the Bid & Opportunities Lead and working closely with key business stakeholders to secure opportunities for the Transport business stream.

Primary responsibilities also include:

  • Coordination, writing and production of bid submissions, presentations, capability statements, and award submissions
  • Driving bid content development to provide compliant submissions aligned to the agreed bid strategy
  • Work collaboratively with the wider submissions teams to identify opportunities to improve approach to tendering and tender submission content
  • Support Submissions Managers and Senior Submissions Coordinators
  • Support, implement and adhere to H&S policies and procedures

This is a hybrid role, and for the right person we are open to locations for candidates working in across the South wider Region – North Island East Coast, Manawatu, Wellington or any locations in the South Island.

NGA PŪKENGA MATUA | IMPORTANT SKILLS

You will be creative and dedicated. Your interpersonal, and project management skills will be something you take pride in – and working collaboratively and positively as part of a team with a common purpose will be second nature to you.

You will also have:

  • Previous experience working in the tendering space, would be an advantage
  • Sound research skills with an ability to use wide range of sources
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Collaborative and adaptable mindset, with an ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree qualified preferred ideally in English/Communications

Responsibilities:
