Description:
Our Subsidies Management team in Dusseldorf is looking for YOU!
Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor and identify relevant subsidy and grant opportunities from government bodies, non-governmental organizations, and other funding agencies with focus on Unipers core markets Germany, UK, Sweden, Netherlands and EU level and with focus on Unipers New Green Power and Gas activities
- Keep track of the relevant EU and National subsidy programs and initiatives that support the energy transition and Uniper’s strategic objectives
- Maintain a comprehensive database of potential subsidies and grants applicable to the New Green Power and Gas Project Portfolio
- Analyze the eligibility criteria, benefits, and requirements of identified subsidies
- Provide expert advice and guidance on the eligibility, application, and compliance requirements of various subsidy schemes and instruments
- Provide strategic advice and insights to senior management on funding opportunities and subsidy strategies
- Establish and maintain relationships with the relevant authorities, agencies, and partners involved in the subsidies and funding processes, and represent Uniper’s interests and positions in the relevant forums and platforms
- Prepare and submit high-quality subsidy proposals and reports, in line with the specific criteria and deadlines of each program with focus on EU programs and by this coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as project managers, business developers, legal advisors, consultants, and authorities, to ensure successful subsidy applications and management
- Track and report on the status and progress of the subsidies and funding applications
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and requirements associated with received subsidies
- Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to funding bodies in a timely manner
- Support the development and implementation of best practices and tools for the subsidies management within the New Green Power and Gas Area
- The underlying project portfolio includes activities in the field of hydrogen and hydrogen derivatives, battery storage and other developing technologies to decarbonise the energy industry with the exception of renewable energies
