Description:

We are seeking motivated Summer Agronomy Students to support our Agronomy team at our Innisfail Agro Centre and assist with tasks such as crop scouting, soil sampling, and general operational duties. This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and a positive attitude in maintaining a clean and safe work environment. A background in agriculture is beneficial.
Position: Summer Agronomy Students (crop scouts/labourers)
Term: Temporary contract for approximately 4 months, with an expected start in April or May of 2025.
Part-time: 24-36 hours per week.
Availability requirements: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Computer skills
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid Drivers License-must provide and acceptable driver’s abstract upon hire
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
