Description:
BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is home to 4,500 digital, cyber and intelligence experts. We work collaboratively across 10 countries to collect, connect and understand complex data, so that governments, nation states, armed forces and commercial businesses can unlock digital advantage in the most demanding environments.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- On track to achieve a 2:2 or above, in a science, technology, engineering or maths (STEM) subject
- Understanding of working with the wider business and leading end to end projects
DIVISION OVERVIEW: CAPABILITIES
At BAE Systems Digital Intelligence, we pride ourselves in being a leader in the cyber defence industry, and Capabilities is the engine that keeps the business moving forward. It is the largest area of Digital Intelligence, containing our Engineering, Consulting and Project Management teams that design and implement the defence solutions and digital transformation projects that make us a globally recognised brand in both the public and private sector.
As a member of the Capabilities team, you will be creating and managing the solutions that earn us our place in an ever changing digital world. We all have a role to play in defending our clients, and this is yours.
Responsibilities:
The role of a Consulting Intern is to harness the expertise of our talented and highly experienced consultants, to deliver a mixture of business and technical-related activities resulting in tangible outputs for our clients. Our Consulting Interns are often the bridge between the business and technical delivery teams and operate across the full length of the project lifecycle, from helping to identify the problem and defining the solution, to implementing and managing the change required for our clients to reach their goals. Consulting Interns will learn the tools, techniques and approaches used by consulting professionals.
The Management Consulting community works with our clients to help them specify their requirements, develop new business processes and guide them through the organisational and behavioural implications of digital transformation and to help ensure that there is a return on investment.
-
Management Consultant – As a Business Consultant your role may involve elements of defining a client’s strategy, developing their future operating model and/or defining and supporting the client’s organisational change. You will be involved throughout the full lifecycle of projects and programmes from early visioning and baselining activities through to a focus on sustainability, transition to business as usual and the delivery of benefits.
Please note, you may be required to work on client sites, which are away from your base location - this can be for an extended period of time. In this instance, all travel and expenses costs will be covered.
