Qualifications
· Enrolled in a post-secondary Electrical Engineering Program (College diploma or University degree) and returning as a full-time student in the fall of 2025.
· Knowledge and Experience of Windows and Microsoft Office software.
· Must be self-motivated and a quick learner.
· Able to work independently and in a team environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience in a Utility or Industrial environment.
· Experience reading electrical schematics.
· Experience with computerized drafting (i.e., AutoCAD or equivalent).
· GIS/GPS Mapping and Surveying experience.
· Completion of Power Systems course (or equivalent).
Responsibilities:
· Carryout independent projects (note that the size and complexity will depend on the skill, knowledge, and initiative of the student).
· Assist Engineers and Engineering Technologists with day-to-day activities and projects.
· Update existing and prepare new AutoCAD drawings for various projects.
· Assist in asset data collection (including surveying activities) and GIS input related tasks.
· Assist in maintaining document storage and updating (including electrical drawings, manuals, standards, etc.).
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
