We are looking for a Trainee to work as an assistant in our IP & Innovation Solutions team, which is a global team in the Kemira Research & Innovation function.
You will mainly be working with IP administrative tasks, such as reviewing incoming mail, updating the case management database, coordinating signatures on formal documents relating patent prosecution and archiving documents. You will also participate in ideating and implementing new ways of working, communications and other development initiatives.
Depending on your background, you can also participate in technical work, such as literature searches and evaluating the patentability of inventions, or development of our software tools and data analysis.

What you’ll bring to the team:

• You are a university student in engineering, law or economics with open mind for learning new things.
• Ideally, you are interested in the intellectual property rights.
• You are detail-oriented and do not get frustrated with routine tasks.
• You have good communication and IT skills and are fluent in written and spoken English.
• You are proactive, a good team player and have good organizational skills.
