Responsibilities:
We are looking for a summer trainee in the Engineering department of our New Nuclear business area. In this role, you will have an opportunity to be involved broadly in the development of Fortum’s New Nuclear, by participating in and supporting investigations and assessments related to plant technology, development of site infrastructure and site layout as well as site development. The position provides you with the possibility to learn more about nuclear technologies, the development of nuclear newbuild project, and different kinds of nuclear engineering.
Your assignments may include e.g.:
- Participation in and contribution to different kinds of investigations, assessments, and tasks supporting the development of plant technology, licensing, site layout as well as engineering management processes and tools.
- Analyses of licensing requirements and non-nuclear requirements and their impact on plant designs.
- Development of technical requirements.
More detailed focus areas and assignments are determined based on the applicant’s experience and interests.
