We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Sustainability and Communications, Flexible Packaging to join our team in Espoo. We offer you an opportunity to gain insight on how we drive sustainability in an international business environment and how communication supports the achievement of our business targets. You will be working in an international environment and collaborating with colleagues from various parts of the world. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience about circularity in the packaging business and how we embed sustainability in our global operations. You will also be experiencing the role that communications plays in managing an international business first-hand.

You will participate in the following tasks:

• Participate in sustainability projects in one of the company’s three business segments
• Develop materials, research and analysis of key sustainability themes
• Support the implementation of global communications projects with an international team
• Possibility to carry out a development project of your own in one of the above areas

To succeed in this role you will need:

• 2-5 years of relevant study background (e.g. marketing, communications, business, economics, sustainability)
• Interest in sustainability and knowledge of key themes around circularity
• Interest in communications, content creation, and willingness to unleash your creativity
• Attention to detail and an analytical mindset
• Curiosity and strong desire to learn about communications in multi-cultural and diverse environment
• Proactive way of working, desire for personal development and learning new things
• Ability to work as part of a team, while also comfortable with independent work and taking ownership
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), Finnish is seen as a plus

The employment is fixed term, and it will start in April/May 2025 and last until the end of August 2025, with a potential short summer break period in July and potential extension after the summer period.
