We are now looking for a

SUMMER TRAINEE, TESTING ENGINEER (RELIABILITY LABORATORY, MATERIAL AND FAILURE ANALYSIS AND ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING)

to join the Testing and analysis-team in KONE Reliability Laboratory located in Hyvinkää, Finland. In this position you will be part of the team in charge of Material and Failure analysis and Environmental testing of elevator and escalator components.
We are looking for a student with ongoing studies to work for maximum of 4 months between May and September 2025, based on availability and preference.

Responsibilities
  • Participates actively in material and failure analysis cases
  • Prepare samples for analysis
  • Analyze samples visually and with microscopes
  • Perform climate tests for components and material samples
  • Participates in building of test setups
  • Perform material tests for studied materials
  • Write test reports
  • Maintain laboratory test equipment
