ACCOUNTABILITIES WILL INCLUDE.

  • Lead a site technology team to deliver services to the agreed standards (quality and timeliness). This will include managing team performance and capability to ensure the team evolves with the business needs.
  • Provide technology leadership and support to operations in a manner that produces results, is transparent in nature and efficiently uses resources in alignment with management strategy.
  • Provide leadership in the site day-to-day operations of technology, while ensuring that regional, site and global projects are planned and synchronised locally.
  • Manage the site technology operating model and ensure consistency and alignment across the business for the services and support provided in each operating location.
  • Ensure team members are efficiently deployed and undertake appropriate training and development so they are skilled to efficiently perform allocated duties.
  • Provide direction and act as a technical reference point and mentor for your team while ensuring work outputs are in line with strategic plans and budgets.
  • Promote, comply to, and demonstrate leadership with respect to NBG’s Health Safety and Loss Prevention (HSLP), Environmental and Community Relations Policies, Standards and Procedures.
  • Ensure all reporting is in accordance with the required standard and is completed and distributed on time. This reporting will include compliance with the Newmont Maintenance Policies and Procedures manual.
  • Promote and adhere to appropriate internal methodologies, policies, procedures and standards.
  • Ensure compliance and ongoing development of the Department’s Management Operating System (MOS).
  • Demonstrate personal commitment in regard to safety, and environmental and Social Responsibility practices and awareness.

Responsibilities:

As the Site Technology Superintendent, you will manage and deliver technology services and projects to support the operation by partnering with mining and processing departments. You will assist in the implementation of regional strategies to ensure all technology activities provide the best possible user experience, shortest possible incident resolution time, and maximum service uptime through the efficient operation of the site network.
