Description:

Quart de jour de semaine : 3x12- Jour (Vendredi au Dimanche de 6h30 AM à 18h30PM )
Le superviseur est responsable du rendement global des opérations de production d’une ou de plusieurs chaînes, dont celles de torréfaction, de production et d’emballage. La ou le titulaire doit également collaborer avec le directeur des opérations afin d’accroître l’efficience de la production au plan de la qualité, de la réduction des déchets à l’usine, de l’amélioration de la rentabilité, ainsi que de la formation et de l’encadrement des employés selon les besoins, tout en veillant au maintien d’un environnement de travail sécuritaire.

QUALIFICATIONS PROFESSIONNELLES

  • Baccalauréat en Administration, Ingénierie, Gestion des opérations ou domaines connexes
  • 5 ans et plus d’expérience pertinente démontrant une vaste connaissance pratique de l’application de concepts de fabrication, des pratiques et des procédures touchant le traitement et l’emballage du café ou un champ de fabrication connexe.
  • Expérience de la supervision d’une équipe de production de 20 personnes ou plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Operations or Administration or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience applying a comprehensive, hands-on knowledge of manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures involved in coffee processing and packaging or a related manufacturing field
  • Supervisory experience of a production team of 20 or more

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all process documentation, improvement strategies and training program procedures to assure consistency of operational tasks, cost reduction, space utilization and the safety and cleanliness of the workplace
  • Tracks productivity week to week for measured shift efficiency and improvement
  • Maintain production schedules and arrange for production adjustments as required
  • Accountable for communication, hiring and training employees, schedules and supervising 20 or more production employees;
  • Assigns, monitors and directs work, training and coaching procedures, leveraging team and individual strengths, responsible for managing performance; addressing complaints and solving problems to ensure high performance results
  • Review production performance, assure compliance with GMP practices, ensure quality and H&S standards are met
  • Tracks product to schedule shift performance and strives for continual improvement
  • Oversees adherence to inventory control procedures to ensure inventory accuracy goals are constantly achieved
  • Improve safety, quality, cost, waste reduction, efficiency, etc. using continuous improvement methodology
  • Inspect operating machinery & equipment periodically (and specifically after repairs) to ensure that they are running safely and according to specifications
  • Complete Ad Hoc Production reports as required
  • Works directly with Operations Manager and cross-functionally with the Quality and Engineering team on projects to improve quality, streamline efficiencies and reduce operating expenses
  • Responsible for coordination, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the department/team and creating a positive climate where people want to do their best
  • Report food quality related issues to the supervisor
