JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the supervision of associates involved in creating and maintaining customer account records. Oversee customer account processes using SAP configured software to centralize information and automate tasks and workflows.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with SAP customer account management processes and oversight.
  • 1-3 yeas of supervisory experience

Responsibilities:

  • Directs workflow for the creation of new accounts, updates to existing accounts, and creation of customer contact data.
  • Oversees workflow delegation tasks for email and fax requests to ensure customer account records are maintained accurately and entered within service level expectations.
  • Oversees processes using SAP-configured software that links account relationships and establishes hierarchies and other customer associations used to drive customer pricing and sales reporting.
  • Monitors the assignment of credit to new account records and addresses SOX compliance violations.
  • Reviews the processing of customer tax exemption certification records.
  • Partners with workforce management by monitoring and updating associate work schedules to ensure adherence to quality and service guidelines.
  • Ensures performance expectations are met surrounding quality and accuracy standards.
  • Interviews selects and provides post-training to account services support staff. Recommends or initiates personnel actions, such as hiring and/or firing of associates. Sets goals, provides coaching, and outlines growth opportunities.
