The Supervisor, Business Standards and Operations Support (BSOS), provides leadership and support to a dynamic team consisting of Fleet and Equipment Coordinators, the Vehicle, Equipment, Supply, Service Technician (VESST) Team, and the Ambulance Readiness Attendant (ARA) Team. This critical work, essential for supporting front-line Clinical Operations, involves recruiting and retaining enthusiastic and engaged employees while managing day-to-day operations and implementing long-term Human Resource initiatives and strategies. As the Supervisor, you will ensure that the zone fleet, comprising around 250 EMS emergency and non-emergency vehicles, is maintained according to legal requirements and is repaired and serviced following established processes by approved vendors. You will oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment, ensuring that all work is carried out according to established processes and procedures. The key responsibilities encompass Human Resource Management, which includes support for workplace health and safety, as well as leadership within the operational area through coaching and mentoring. Additionally, the role involves managing financial and physical assets, along with overseeing organizational risk management.

The Supervisor will provide direction, leadership, and support to all direct reports within the zone Fleet and Equipment portfolio while overseeing EMS Fleet optimization and utilization objectives. Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, is also a key responsibility, as is assisting EMS Facilities as a key stakeholder in the Fleet and Equipment portfolio.
