Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring construction progress and compliance to safety, environmental and quality standards.
- Ensure all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of work.
- Effectively coordinating and supervising the utilisation of all on-site resources for the project.
- Actively liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant company and group policies and processes in accordance with the contract.
- Ensuring all workers meet site requirements prior to commencing work.
- Forward planning daily/weekly/monthly construction work including resource requirements and trade coordination.
- Ensuring site wide compliance to standards, specifications and safety.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:
- Previous experience as a supervisor working on large scale projects within the Civil Construction industry.
- Champion a culture of “Safety & Health above all else” and ability to conduct own work and manage teams according to site SHEQ.
- Strong people management and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully and autonomously within a fast-paced project environment and deliver on deadlines.
- Must be available for night shift if required.
