POSITION OVERVIEW

You’re a skilled leader with excellent financial analysis capabilities, well-versed in accounting and financial reporting. While you possess technical expertise, you’re a team player who’s quick to provide support to ensure the highest level of service, accuracy and quality in all you do. You excel at preparing detailed and accurate financial analysis for both internal and external reporting, ensuring that all financial data is reliable and supports informed decision-making.
As the Budgeting and Reporting Supervisor, your strong interpersonal skills enable you to work effectively with various departments and lead a team of analysts. You can collaborate with different personalities and skillsets, fostering a productive and harmonious work environment.
Additionally, you’re detail-oriented while maintaining a big picture perspective. This balance is vital for assessing the criticality of tasks and aligning them with the company’s overall goals, ensuring both accuracy and strategic alignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance your understanding of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) within a regulated utility
  • Establish strong working relationships with direct reports and company leadership.
  • Perform and improve essential financial tasks performed on a monthly, quarterly, and year-end basis.
    In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.
