Description:
We are searching for a Supervisor of Business Operations - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day direction and oversight to the assigned Business Operations Team and serving as a resource for all Business Process Specialist and Business Operations teams on highly complex issues and problem resolution, and also serve as a subject matter expert and will be responsible for tracking work productivity, issue resolution, and reporting of Production/Project inventory within all systems. The Supervisor will ensure that all daily work of the team aligns with Regulatory requirements, Business Rules, Policies and Procedures, and SLAs. Collaborates with manager to ensure all internal team members are following current Standard Operating Procedures and Business Rules as expected.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Required High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: associate degree.
- Required 4 years healthcare industry, Texas Medicaid, managed care organization (MCO), claims processing, quality assurance, enrollment and eligibility, configuration of providers and benefits, relational system application, project management, process improvement, and/or business analysis experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises staff. Supervises, leads, motivates, coaches, mentors, counsels; including performance reviews and one to ones weekly with staff, and evaluates each analyst to ensure optimal level of job performance, adherence to policies and procedures, and the consistent delivery of quality assurance through testing. Assures appropriate staffing to provide coverage for projects and production inventory volume.
- Supervises work assignments and projects. Proactively identifies issues and process improvement opportunities in day-to-day operations. Supports issue resolution and new process implementation. Monitors respective work queues on a daily basis and delegates work amongst the staff.
- Performs analysis and responds to complex and escalated inquires/projects. Strong ability to think critically to aide in problem solving. Pulls and analyzes data to support inquires and projects or daily operations.
- Delivers training and learning opportunities. Manages planning and facilitating weekly upskill sessions for staff. Collects internal data in order to best create opportunities for coaching for staff.
- Data Management. Verifies accurate provider demographics information with each submission from external departments and makes changes as needed into electronic record per Healthplan protocol with 100% accuracy. Verifies all documents and inquires submitted for standardization of practices prior to provider profile creation to follow procedures set per Healthplan protocol.
