DESCRIPTION

The Office Staff Supervisor manages the non-clinical functions of the clinic (i.e., reception/registration, phones, appointments, and medical records). Supervises the business operations and activities of the Clinic. Assists with all clinic personnel management in collaboration with the manager. Assures that all non-clinical services within the clinic are provided in a timely and accurate manner which is sensitive to the patient’s physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Works closely with clinical staff as appropriate to facilitate patient care.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Coursework/Training and College level healthcare management coursework. Or equivalent educ/experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management or Business Administration.
• 2 years of experience in managing or supervising a medical office.
• Experience with Windows-based software.
