Description:

Overview:
As the Supervisor, Cloud Infrastructure Services you will lead and support activities related to designing, planning, implementing, directing, and coordinating all services and operations related to all Cloud Infrastructure. This includes providing analysis and support on service level performance, financial performance, and infrastructure performance across all ecosystems. You are also responsible for all technology infrastructure, application and software infrastructure services as well as providing direction, analysis, and support for all Cloud services in the support and operations of all on premise data centres and Cloud productivity solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster a high-performance team culture that is consistent with the corporate vision, values, and leading practices.
  • Lead and coordinate activities related to complex changes required to support business objectives, including drafting, and reviewing service request or requirements documents and contract change order/amendment proposals.
  • Lead and coordinate infrastructure technology solutions for both on-prem data centres and Cloud services.
  • Lead designing and evaluation of all Infrastructure and cloud services to meet corporate objectives.
  • Manage and establish priorities for maintenance, design, development, and analysis of all infrastructure both on-prem and in the Cloud.
  • Lead and coordinate availability and capacity management in on-prem and Cloud services.
  • Lead and coordinate cost containment measures for on-prem and Cloud services.
  • Collaborate closely with Architecture in the design of solutions to ensure that the delivery of these solutions meets all operational, governance, security, and best practice requirements.
  • Develop and maintain forecasts for resource needs based on historical patterns, usage patterns, and upcoming initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, applied Science or related discipline with a demonstrated record of continuing education in the IT field.
  • Seven years of related experience in the IT Industry, including four years related to infrastructure and technology services, including experience in the following areas:
  • Experience in Cloud Services
  • Experience in Contract Management
  • Experience managing multiple service providers, including integration, service delivery, project delivery, and monitoring performance.
  • Experience in developing service based financial models.
  • Experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Manage multiple activities with a high degree of risk and work within deadlines.
  • Quickly form professional relationships built on trust and respect.
  • Strong project and process management and facilitation skills.
  • Understand and articulate the connection between business and technology.
  • Strong skills in working independently and as a member of a team.
  • Working knowledge of:
  • Medium-sized managed services systems environment including network, server, storage, operations, database, systems management, and data centres.
  • Complex, multi-platform environments including technologies such as Azure, Wintel, Unix, Cisco, VMware, Kubernetes.
  • Information frameworks, such as the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
  • Azure Cloud services including the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Infrastructure as Code, High Availability and Disaster Recovery capabilities.
