What will you do?

  • Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 3-6 collection agents, providing guidance and support to improve performance and achieve collection goals.
  • Track and analyze team performance metrics, conducting regular performance reviews and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage escalated accounts, working with clients to resolve complex billing issues and negotiate payment arrangements.
  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies to improve recovery rates and reduce outstanding receivables.
  • Foster positive relationships with key clients, ensuring a professional and customer-centric approach to collections.
  • Provide ongoing training to the team on best practices, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Ensure that all collection activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on team performance, collection rates, and other key metrics.

What do you bring?

  • A growth mindset: above all else, we’re looking for people who are dependable, ambitious and want to grow with Reliance.
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial collections, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in collection software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to collections.
