Reporting to the Service Solutions Manager, the Supervisor, Commercial Performance will lead and execute comprehensive commercial strategies for De Havilland Component Solutions, Aftermarket Price and Offer ability. This role involves managing staff and activities to meet organizational goals, ensuring profitability and risk management objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of program management experience in the aerospace industry, with direct involvement in aircraft development or manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in commercial strategy and management.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and market research capabilities.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing pricing an go to market strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in risk management and procurement strategies.
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulatory standards (TCCA, FAA, EASA) and aircraft certification processes.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with DHC Aircraft related products and services.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Team oriented and work well in a collaborative environment.
  • PMP certification is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and work effectively with people at all organizational levels.
  • Capability to maintain steady control and calm when facing challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive commercial strategies that align with the De Havilland Component Solutions, Aftermarket Price and Offer ability objectives and market opportunities.
  • Lead and manage all staff and activities to effectively meet organizational goals, while maintaining and safe and healthy workplace environment.
  • Oversee the negotiation and management of contracts with both Customers and Vendors ensuring internal profitability objects and risk management best practices.
  • Conduct and manage in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and manage pricing models and strategies to ensure competitive market pricing and value for money.
  • Lead the monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to assess commercial performance, identifying key issues and areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Customers, Vendors, and internal teams, to foster collaboration and alignment.
  • Identify potential risks in commercial agreements and market conditions, developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the commercial management team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Address significant corporate issues, build strong stakeholder relationships, identify and mitigate potential risks.
