Supervisor, Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar

THE OPPORTUNITY:

APC is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Supervisor to work in our newest restaurant, Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar, located within the spectacular landmark The Leaf, at Assiniboine Park. This position will work with the General Manager to execute the strategic plan for the restaurant, while ensuring guests enjoy outstanding customer experiences through service excellence. The Supervisor will lead an incredible and thoughtful service team that creates memorable experiences by focusing on attention to detail and utilizing unique guest activation and engagement approaches. The Supervisor will provide warm, and caring service, and exhibit deep “ownership” of the restaurant and its unique mission. They will engage guests through a menu that highlights food and drink as a cultural unifier. We offer flexible work hours, that include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 to 5 plus years’ Supervisory experience in the Hospitality or Restaurant industry.
• 2 plus years’ experience developing and training employees.
• Experience in a fast-paced, food service environment required.
• A high school diploma and/or GED equivalent.
• Diploma or certificate in hospitality/restaurant management an asset.
• Safe Food Handling Certification is an asset.
• Must have Smart Choices Certification.
• A valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License is an asset.
• Proficiency with computer programs used by the organization including Microsoft Office software.
  Wage range: $18.40 per hour, plus tips
