Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Supervisor, Hospitality & Ski Program is responsible for all aspects of the guest’s in-lodge Heli-Ski hospitality experience and acts as the first point of contact for the Kootenay guests. The Hospitality & Ski Program Supervisor will be great with people, build meaningful professional relationships, and inspire their team to create life-changing mountain experiences.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred.
- Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and online forums.
- Class 4 Driver’s License.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent specialized training in a related field, preferred.
- Experience in the ski industry, preferred.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with management team to help achieve the overall goals of the hospitality and heli-ski programs.
- Act as the main point of contact and host for guests.
- Provide a professional, highly organized, and detailed hospitality experience for après ski, dinner service and heli-ski program.
- Train and supervise the service team to CMH standards.
- Develop down day activities and lead the program for guests and staff.
- Keep the management team informed of any questions, concerns or feedback from guests.
- Follow up with any injured guests to ensure they have what they need, and incident recorded accordingly.
- Train, participate in, and provide support as required during emergency response situations.
- Assist in delivery on CMH/KO social media channels.
- Administrative duties as required.
- Help support implementation of CMH health and safety initiatives.
- Help support implementation of CMH sustainability initiatives.
- Train, participate in and provide support, as required, during emergency response situations.Support guests and employees in the field program during area visits, as needed.
